There's good TV, there's better TV, and then there's DIRECTV

Before Netflix and streaming, there was simply cable vs. satellite. In that contest, there really wasn't one. DIRECTV offered more movies, more sports, more of everything and with better viewing resolution to boot. As Group Creative Director at Deutsch LA awhile back, I helped position DIRECTV as the ultimate in home viewing. We used the content itself to communicate our message in a long-running "4th Wall" Campaign.

Below two spreads summing up DIRECTV's content advantage. Top, a salute to what may be the first-ever "Everything Plan." And below, our way of saying that NFL SUNDAY TICKET'S 14 games to watch every Sunday sure beat out the alternative of 4 games on cable.
